Job summary

Cushing Terrell seeks an Experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of complex HVAC and plumbing systems for diverse building types, working with a multidisciplinary team. You will develop HVAC concepts, perform site assessments and analyses, and ensure code-compliant designs for quality construction documents.

The role requires licensure or the ability to obtain it, a strong background in HVAC systems, and leadership of engineers and drafters.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
Professional Engineer licensure or ability to obtain licensure is required.
Proficient in Revit MEP for mechanical design and coordination.
Ability to design complex HVAC systems and perform load calculations.

Responsibilities

Lead development of HVAC design concepts, independently or with engineers.
Conduct site assessments and building analyses for engineering reports.
Identify energy conservation measures and estimate implementation costs.
Provide quality control review of mechanical designs and construct documents.
Serve as Engineer in Responsible Charge, stamping and signing documents.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and drafters to produce construction documents.
