Job summary

RWB Consulting Engineers in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design mechanical HVAC systems for a variety of facilities. The role involves preparing drawings, redlines, submittals, site visits, and RFI/PCR reviews, while coordinating across disciplines with clients and team members.

The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP with strong knowledge of energy modeling; a Texas EIT is required, and a PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for commercial buildings.
• EIT required; TX P.E. license is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Experience with energy modeling is a plus.
• Familiarity with plumbing/electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC production drawings end-to-end; redline drafting; submittal reviews.
• Design mechanical HVAC systems for education, municipal, office, data centers, healthcare, and other facilities.
• Interact with clients; attend meetings; review mechanical docs; mentor junior staff.
