Collins Aerospace in the United States seeks a senior hardware engineer to design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and CCAs. You will manage requirements, lead cross-functional teams, and present technical information to stakeholders.

The role requires DoD clearance and citizenship, with a focus on high-reliability aerospace hardware design, SWaP considerations, and on-time delivery within a dynamic mission-systems environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner / Siemens EDA tools (DxDesigner / xDX Designer VX).
• Design electronic products for high reliability and long life.
• STEM degree with 5+ years experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and CCAs.
• Circuit card design including hardware with processors, FPGAs, memory, and interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART).
• Capture requirements and verify for small to medium circuit cards.
• Present project technical information to peers and customers.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout design experience.
• Coordinate tasks between cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
