Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Foundational understanding of mechanical engineering principles and methods.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, Creo, Fusion 360, Inventor, or equivalent).
  • Ability to learn new concepts with guidance.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail to manage tasks.
  • Basic project coordination and time-management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design and development of robotic cells and automated systems.
  • Assist in ground-up design of production tooling for efficiency and reliability.
  • Support end-of-arm tooling design for material handling.
  • Develop tests, fixtures, and mechanical solutions for robotic components.
  • Assist with prototype assembly, integration, and testing activities.
  • Assist with basic programming and integration of industrial robots.
  • Collect and analyze testing data; support design validation.
  • Perform thermal and structural analyses with guidance.
  • Document system requirements and participate in reviews and meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate updates.
