SharkNinja, a global product design and technology company headquartered in Needham, MA, seeks a Mechanical Engineer II for Corded/Cordless products on-site. You will own the front-end technology, turning undefined problems into prototypes and shaping the product roadmap with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or closely related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or product design.
• Hands-on experience designing electromechanical products in a product development environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo.
• Experience with plastic part design, including injection-molded, silicone, and rubber components.
• Strong communicator — you can sketch an idea on a whiteboard and defend it in an engineering review.

Responsibilities

• Drive the front-end technology and feasibility roadmap for Corded/Cordless Products products, collaborating with engineering, industrial design, brand, and test kitchen teams across the US, UK, and China.
• Build proof-of-concept rigs and functional prototypes to stress-test ideas early — before the business invests in full development.
• Work across the full system: mechanical design, sensors, software, batteries, connectivity — you see the whole picture, not just your slice of it.
• Communicate ideas rapidly through sketching, CAD layouts, 3D models, and physical prototypes.
• Run design and engineering studies — solo and in teams — with the consumer experience as the north star at every stage.
