The role emphasizes risk management, DFMEA/PFMEA, and design transfer, with a pathway to drive verification and validation across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, design assurance, and NPD.
• Experience with electronic design, power systems, embedded systems, firmware–hardware interactions, and controls.
• Quality tools: DFMEA, PFMEA, hazard analysis, CAPA, and statistics.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for electrical design robustness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the quality and electrical systems SME on cross-functional NPD teams.
• Support design control and phase-gate processes from concept to commercialization.
• Lead and support risk management including DFMEA, PFMEA, hazard analysis, FRACA, and mitigation tracking.
• Develop verification and validation techniques with traceability from customer requirements to test methods.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Supplier Quality for design transfer, production readiness, and change control.
• Apply statistical methods to monitor quality metrics and drive root cause analysis.
