Job summary

Raytheon Marlborough is seeking a Mechanical Engineering I to contribute to the Undersea & Electronics Systems department, designing components for defense systems and supporting integration with factories and suppliers.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, CAD experience, and CREO proficiency; travel may occur CONUS. This is an onsite role with DoD clearance considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field required.
• Experience with CAD modeling software.
• Experience with CREO.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components for defense system equipment.
• Support the factory and suppliers with product integration.
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines to solve complex technical challenges.
• Validate design fit and functionality by rapid prototyping and/or simulation.
• Participate in design peer reviews and conduct trade studies to make sound decisions.
• Occasional CONUS travel to customer sites or suppliers; international travel optional.
