Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for an on-site role in TeWksbury/Andover, MA. You will contribute to mechanical design, integration, and production support for Ground Equipment systems, including radar shelters and interconnects.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience and strong skills in Creo, Windchill, and cross-functional collaboration. Travel ~10% may be required; security clearance is required.

Qualifications

Requires a STEM degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
Experience investigating and resolving manufacturing or supplier change requests and developing rework/modification procedures.
Experience supporting the full product lifecycle from concept to production.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Experience with design reviews, closing actions, and conducting trade studies.

Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve change requests from manufacturing or suppliers.
Develop rework or modification procedures to support product updates.
Support the full product lifecycle from concept through production and post-production support.
Work with engineering disciplines, non-technical functions, and suppliers to craft robust solutions.
Participate in design peer reviews, close actions, and trade studies to guide decisions.
Manage tasks independently ensuring on-time delivery of technical, schedule, and cost commitments.
Mentor and support less experienced engineers to grow the team.
