Job summary

Raytheon Marlborough, MA is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to provide site development and integration expertise for HVAC-focused projects. You will work with cross-functional teams on large-scale facility design, prepare mechanical plans, and support construction administration.

Ideal candidate has 5–7 years HVAC and mechanical design experience, AutoCAD/Revit proficiency, and a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited program with FE/EIT status or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of post-education HVAC and mechanical system design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for HVAC design and documentation.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, IMC, IECC and related code compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide HVAC design and field assessment for large-scale facility projects.
• Prepare mechanical plans, layouts, and equipment schedules for construction.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors on site work.
• Develop and apply standard HVAC design technologies and controls strategies.
• Ensure code compliance and document change requests with home office teams.
