Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• GPA of 3.0+ as a general rule.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CAD software and ability to model basic parts.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic mechanical designs for Garmin or OEM products.
• Model basic parts and components in CAD for mass production.
• Specify requirements and source parts such as connectors, motors, displays, and enclosures.
• Create test plans for basic mechanical systems and verify design requirements.
