Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent academics (cumulative GPA >= 3.0).
• Demonstrated knowledge of CAD software and ability to model basic parts.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic mechanical designs for Garmin or OEM products.
• Model basic parts and components using CAD for production.
• Specify requirements and source parts like connectors, motors, and enclosures.
• Complete test plans for basic mechanical systems and verify design requirements.
• Maintain configuration control of documentation for products in production.
