Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled, dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team on commercial construction projects. You will design, develop, and implement complex mechanical solutions to meet project requirements and standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of construction experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, and SolidWorks; PE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction industry.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of HVAC or plumbing systems.
• PE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring designs meet project requirements and standards.
• Use AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers for seamless integration.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems to high quality and timeliness.
• Conduct tests on mechanical systems and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Provide expert guidance on HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in mechanical engineering and apply innovations.
