Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for construction projects. You will create detailed 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, and SolidWorks, collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure seamless integration.

Mentorship and innovation are encouraged. The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree with 2+ years in construction, and a PE is a plus; HVAC/plumbing knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2+ years in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, and SolidWorks.
• PE certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC or plumbing systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring designs meet project requirements and standards.
• Use AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, SolidWorks to create 3D models and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to integrate systems into the overall design.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems to high standards.
• Conduct tests on mechanical systems, assess performance, and make adjustments as needed.
• Provide expert guidance on mechanical engineering aspects including HVAC and plumbing.
• Keep up to date with latest mechanical engineering developments and apply them where appropriate.
