Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems in Harvard, MA, is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will provide technical expertise during commissioning, implementation, and integration of manufacturing equipment.

You will work closely with production to optimize processes for efficiency, quality and safety, and you will support FAT and SAT testing and occasional second shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise during the commissioning, implementation, and integration of manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of equipment.
• Provide coverage or partial coverage for the second shift as required.
