CMTA, located at 2751 Prosperity Avenue, Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions division. As one of the fastest-growing engineering firms in the U.S., CMTA specializes in sustainable, high-performance building engineering, offering a collaborative and innovative environment for engineers.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, client-focused, and possess a strong technical background to lead all project phases. While this position is within our performance contracting division, engineers with HVAC design and commissioning experience can transition effectively into our energy engineering team.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conduct building and system audits
2. Perform energy analysis and savings calculations
3. Write detailed reports
4. Participate in meetings with project managers and clients
5. Assist with other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm
