Markent Personnel, Inc. is assisting Our Client in identifying a mechanical engineer to own the full lifecycle of rugged hardware—concept to manufacture—for drone-related enclosures and accessories.

The role focuses on Dongle Cases, Bridge Boxes, and other ruggedized housings used in ground stations and communications systems. You will benefit from rapid prototyping in-house, with field-testing across drone platforms and travel opportunities for demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee manufacture of Dongle Cases, Bridge Boxes, and other ruggedized electronic enclosures
• Specify, source, and customize swarm packaging solutions including Pelican cases and precision foam inserts
• Design, test, and manufacture drone attachments and physical modifications, from simple brackets to actuated mechanisms
• Collaborate with the engineering team on mechanism design, prototyping, and field validation
