Job summary

Our Client seeks a mechanical engineer to join the hardware development team. The role owns the full lifecycle of physical hardware—from concept through manufacture—across enclosure, packaging, and drone integration products.

Primary responsibilities include designing Dongle Cases and Bridge Boxes, the ruggedized enclosures central to infrastructure. With in-house 3D printing and rapid iteration, the position emphasizes fast prototyping and field testing, including swarm packaging configurations

Qualifications

• Candidates should own the full lifecycle of hardware design from concept to manufacture.
• Experience designing ruggedized enclosures and drone-related components is essential.
• Ability to prototype quickly with in-house fabrication and field-test viability.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the manufacture of Dongle Cases and Bridge Boxes.
• Specify and customize swarm packaging solutions including Pelican cases and foam inserts.
• Design, test, and manufacture drone attachments and physical modifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on mechanism design, prototyping, and field validation.
