Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a mechanical engineer to own the full hardware lifecycle—from concept through manufacture—for rugged enclosures and drone integrations. The role covers design of Dongle Cases, Bridge Boxes, and attachments, with prototyping and field testing emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience owning full hardware lifecycle from concept to manufacture.
• Ability to design ruggedized enclosures and mechanical assemblies for drones.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, and field validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee manufacture of Dongle Cases, Bridge Boxes, and other ruggedized enclosures.
• Specify, source, and customize swarm packaging solutions including Pelican cases and foam inserts.
• Design, test, and manufacture drone attachments and physical modifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on mechanism design, prototyping, and field validation.
