Job summary

Our Client seeks a mechanical engineer to join our hardware development team, owning the full lifecycle of physical hardware—from concept through manufacture—for enclosure, packaging, and drone integration products.

Design and manufacture of Dongle Cases and Bridge Boxes, ruggedized enclosures, drone attachments, and swarm packaging (Pelican cases and precision foam inserts) are core responsibilities, with rapid prototyping and field testing in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing ruggedized enclosures and hardware.
• Ability to take concepts through fabrication and manufacturing.
• Proficiency with rapid prototyping and field testing.
• Knowledge of drone attachments and actuated mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee manufacture of Dongle Cases, Bridge Boxes, and other ruggedized enclosures.
• Specify, source, and customize swarm packaging solutions including Pelican cases and foam inserts.
• Design, test, and manufacture drone attachments and physical modifications.
• Collaborate with engineering on mechanism design, prototyping, and field validation.
