Our Client seeks a mechanical engineer to own the full lifecycle of physical hardware, from concept through manufacture, across enclosure, packaging, and drone integration products. Responsibilities include designing Dongle Cases, Bridge Boxes, and swarm packaging solutions for field deployments.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping with in-house 3D printing, field testing, and integration of drone attachments and mechanisms to support deployable, self-contained systems.

Qualifications

• Design, analyze, and prototype mechanical hardware components.
• Experience with ruggedized enclosures and field-ready packaging.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee manufacture of rugged enclosures including Dongle Cases and Bridge Boxes.
• Specify and customize swarm packaging solutions (Pelican cases, foam inserts).
• Design, test, and manufacture drone attachments and mounting hardware.
• Collaborate with engineering team on prototyping, field validation, and mechanisms.
