Job summary

Ditch Witch, a premier division of The Toro Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design components and systems for Perry, OK products. You will use CAD to create/modify models and work with engineers with electrical/hydraulic responsibilities.

You will analyze specs, prototype, review designs for standards, and maintain design documentation while balancing multiple projects. Travel to shop and field is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or closely related engineering field.
• Engineer III requires 5+ years of product design/engineering experience.
• Engineer II requires 2-4 years of experience.
• Engineer I requires 0-2 years of experience.
• Experience with CAD software and solid modeling.
• Interest in mobile equipment design and operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product specifications and performance requirements to balance performance, functionality, cost and manufacturability.
• Direct and participate in construction and testing of prototypes to evaluate design and function.
• Solicit input from various sources to meet customer requirements and manufacturability.
• Review design for compliance with standards and specifications.
• Create and maintain essential design information, models, drafts, schematics and documentation.
• Provide solutions to complex issues while balancing multiple projects and priorities.
