Job summary

The Toro Company’s Ditch Witch division in Perry, OK is seeking a Test Engineer to design, run, and document test programs for components and products. You will lead test equipment development and coordinate technicians across projects to ensure reliability and compliance with specifications.

Candidates should have a Mechanical/ME-related degree and 0–10 years of progressively responsible experience in test engineering. Travel to customer sites and field tests may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or closely related engineering field.
• Test Engineer I, 0-2 years of experience in similar field
• Test Engineer II, minimum of 2 years' experience in similar field
• Test Engineer III, minimum of 4 years' experience in similar field
• Test Engineer IV, minimum of 7 years' experience in similar field
• Test Engineer V, minimum of 10 years' experience in similar field
• Background with significant mechanical and electromechanical experience.
• Working knowledge of test specifications for components and systems.
• Willingness to travel to customer job sites and local test fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide test support for product development design groups.
• Design and conduct test programs to verify specifications and validate reliability of components and products.
• Design, develop and/or specify test methods, fixtures, and equipment.
• Prepare, approve, and maintain test procedures, forms and other data records.
• Prepare test reports to communicate results, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Provide technical direction for personnel assigned to projects.
• Meet or exceed typical expectations for creativity, production, work quality, and safety.
