Job summary

IMI in Irwin, PA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and test mechanical systems for ball valve manufacturing. The role involves leading a design team, coordinating with manufacturing, QA and sales, and ensuring robust documentation in Creo and ERP.

On-site work in Irwin with a dynamic, multi-project environment. Ideal candidates hold a BS in mechanical engineering with 4+ years of engineering experience and strong Creo modeling skills, plus ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least four years of engineering work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design team creating assembly and component drawings using PTC Creo.
• Maintain configurations, BOMs and data in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with assembly, manufacturing and QA to resolve issues.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and sales teams.
• Design, layout, test and evaluate products, including automation integration.
• Coordinate projects and ensure smooth information flow between departments.
• Participate in QA audits, Safety and other project committees.
