Job summary

IMI plc in the United States seeks a Project Manager to lead multi-disciplined teams in an engineer-to-order valve manufacturing environment. You will own contract performance, on-time delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction from order via delivery and invoicing.

The role requires a BS in mechanical engineering, 2–3 years in valve/process control, and strong communication with ERP/CRM experience. Travel of 10–15% is expected; competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BSME/BSMET or related engineering/technical degree.
• 2–3 years’ experience in valve/process control or related engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience leading a multi-disciplined project team (engineering, QA, procurement, manufacturing).
• Knowledge of contracts, US contract law, and commercial negotiations best practices.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally ~10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Primary customer interface on all assigned projects.
• Oversee project performance from order to warranty, focusing on schedule, compliance, and profitability.
• Drive order execution through Engineering, QA, Procurement, Production, Shipping and Finance.
• Establish strong relationships with domestic and international customers and project teams.
• Facilitate clear communications to resolve technical and commercial issues and negotiate contract modifications.
