Barry-Wehmiller Converting is expanding its Mechanical Engineering teams with roles at multiple levels (I–IV). Positions are primarily onsite at Green Bay with onsite and hybrid opportunities in Waukesha and Madison.

Relocation support may be available for distant candidates. The role focuses on design, development, and modification of machines and systems, balancing manufacturing feasibility, cost, safety, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 0-2 years experience for Engineer I up to 8 years for Engineer IV.
• Proficient with 3D CAD tools and mechanical design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for new machine functions, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Create technical solutions, detailed designs, and assembly drawings.
• Interface with suppliers to clarify system functionality and technical requirements.
• Support Purchasing in evaluating technical proposals, costs, and supplier capabilities.
• Read, interpret, and apply information from blueprints and schematics.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement procedures and resolve malfunctions.
