Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Converting is expanding its Electrical Engineering team with positions at multiple sites. Roles emphasize hybrid work near Green Bay with onsite and hybrid opportunities in Waukesha and Madison. Relocation assistance may be available for those outside a commutable distance.

The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems, develop specifications, and support manufacturing teams. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field required.
• 0–2 years of experience for Level I consideration.
• EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, Servo systems.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the design team in machinery design from inception to completion.
• Develop engineering specifications and original design concepts.
• Provide detailed technical analysis of equipment and BOMs.
• Support manufacturing/assembly teams and field projects.
• May travel to customer sites to provide technical assistance as required.
