Job summary

Barry-Wehmill­er Converting is expanding and seeks Mechanical Engineers at all levels for onsite roles in Green Bay, with hybrid options in other Wisconsin locations. Candidates will work on design, development and modification of machines, balancing manufacturing feasibility with cost and safety considerations.

Level I–IV distinctions determine supervision and scope; relocation assistance may be offered for non-local candidates. Will travel up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3D CAD experience with SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for new machine functions, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Create technical solutions, detailed designs, and assembly drawings.
• Interface with suppliers to clarify system functionality and requirements.
• Support Purchasing in evaluating proposals and costs.
• Develop product catalogs and specification workbooks.
• Read blueprints and CAD drawings to guide work.
