Job summary

Foxconn E BG Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Silicon Valley AI Rack NPI Center. You will design and optimize assembly processes for ultra‑dense L11 AI server racks, develop fixtures, and ensure smooth transition from NPI to mass production while meeting quality standards.

The role requires 4–7 years in mechanical process or manufacturing engineering within electronics, with CAD proficiency and knowledge of high-end server cabling and liquid cooling advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
Master's degree is a plus.
4–7 years of mechanical process/manufacturing/NPI experience in electronics.
Experience with server/rack-level assembly is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and establish SOPs and Process Flow Charts for assembly of high-density L11 AI racks.
Conduct DFM/DFA reviews with R&D and participate in NPI prototype builds.
Develop specialized assembly tools, fixtures and lifting mechanisms for safe handling of heavy AI racks.
Create clear Work Instructions and training materials; implement Poka-Yoke to prevent errors.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve yield on the assembly line.
