Under general direction of the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer performs a wide variety of technical field and office engineering work related to various activities, programs, and facilities. Responsible for all mechanical design and engineering support for installation, modification, maintenance, and testing of mechanical systems and equipment at Authority facilities. Coordinates major mechanical repairs, modifications, or testing with various agencies and divisions. Provides administrative duties, including coordination of departmental maintenance and operations, as required.
Principles and practices of mechanical engineering, design and maintenance of systems, project management, applicable codes, and software applications.
Read blueprints, design projects, analyze data, develop plans, create drawings, manage projects, and communicate effectively.
