Job summary

GTN Solutions GmbH seeks a senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex industrial projects in Plano, TX, ensuring designs meet customer specs and U.S. codes.

You will drive evaluation, design reviews, testing, and field support while coordinating with customers, suppliers, and international teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 12+ years of experience, and 7+ years leading electrical activities; a PE license or UL/engineered equipment experience

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience, plus 12+ years in relevant roles.
• 7+ years leading industrial electrical engineering activities and strong knowledge of codes, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional coordination.
• PE designation or UL approvals/engineered equipment experience is preferred.

• Oversee electrical engineering work from evaluation through design review, implementation, testing, and field support.

Job description

Oversee electrical engineering work from project evaluation and estimating through design review, implementation, testing, and field support, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and applicable U.S. codes and standards. Coordinate customers, suppliers, and international engineering teams; manage design changes and product approvals; and resolve compliance, testing, installation, and performance issues.

Requirements:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, along with at least 12 years of relevant experience and seven or more years leading industrial electrical engineering activities. Candidates must have strong knowledge of industrial electrical equipment, codes and regulatory requirements, electrical drawings, design and change management, and cross-functional coordination; a PE designation or relevant certifications and experience with UL approvals or engineered equipment are preferred.
