Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and develop HVAC systems for a variety of building projects in Augusta, GA. The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical system design and construction documents, plus a strong HVAC consulting background.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, an EIT certification, and ideally a PE license, with 3+ years in HVAC consulting.

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the HVAC consulting engineering industry.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for a variety of building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC consulting engineering, hands‑on experience with mechanical system design, and the ability to develop coordinated construction documents.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the HVAC consulting engineering industry.
• Demonstrated experience designing HVAC systems and developing mechanical construction documents.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
• Experience with Trane TRACE load calculation software preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical design principles, and building system coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines effectively.
• Ability to understand complex HVAC system types, with an interest in continuously expanding technical knowledge.
