Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical & Electrical) for our Litchfield, Illinois location.

You will perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and uptime, while managing assets in the CMMS system and coordinating parts and planned work with operations. Your role includes working with vendors and contractors, supporting capital projects, and ensuring safety standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid US driver’s license and the ability to operate standard maintenance tools.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic plant environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and using CMMS/EA/ERP systems.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to learn and apply mechanical concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative work style.
• Good teamwork and clear communication across shifts and departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe practices and drive risk reduction to meet safety standards.
• Support plant operations with corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
• Create, modify, and close work orders in CMMS with accurate labor and parts data.
• Provide maintenance support for capital projects with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain and organize the plant shop and maintenance tools.
• Lead grounds and facility maintenance as needed.
• Utilize predictive maintenance tools to identify emerging issues and enhance PM plans.
• Complete fabrication projects to improve processes and safety.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and drawings.
• Plan and lead project work with operations to minimize production disruption.
• Maintain Enterprise Asset Management system data and provide user training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
