Job description

Mechanical EIT/Coordinator

In the role of Mechanical EIT/Coordinator, we’ll count on you to:

• Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more‑senior engineers on larger projects
• Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest and/or experience designing HVAC systems
• Commercial/institutional experience in healthcare, technology/data centers, and/or water‑wastewater preferred
• Recent or near‑term future graduates will be considered
• EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of “Coordinator” and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression within 3 months
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
• Experience or ability to become proficient in using Revit
• 2 years experience in HVAC or Plumbing related design fields

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, and equipment selection software)
