Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to create and update detailed part and assembly drawings, ensuring they meet engineering guidance and standards.

This onsite role partners with project engineers and a collaborative drafting team to keep projects on schedule. Responsibilities include attending daily project team reviews, resolving scope questions, and sharing best practices.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in CAD.
• 2+ years of mechanical drafting experience.
• Experience with 3D parametric modeling and CAD software (Creo preferred; SolidWorks or Inventor considered).
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5 on drawings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with the project team leader to review project scope, status, and deadlines.
• Create and update part and assembly drawings in accordance with engineering guidance, standards, and specifications.
• Interface with project engineers to resolve questions related to project scope requirements.
• Complete projects on time and in alignment with project engineer expectations.
• Share best practices and troubleshoot problems with team members.
