Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Pontiac, IL is seeking a full-time Mechanical Drafter. You will support manufacturing engineers by producing drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation for new equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 1+ years of drafting or related experience.
• Demonstrated drafting and 3D modeling skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal follow-up once trained.
• Professional conduct, including appropriate language, strong time management, and professional personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Draft and model tooling, tool layouts, and fixture drawings for new machines and processes.
• Support tool design engineering with drawings and 3D models, expanding the group’s drafting capabilities.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with layouts and with the development and validation of technical documentation for new machine acquisitions.
• Convert supplier drawings to company drafting standards.
• Review and align on work priorities with the manager.
• Occasional access to the factory floor.
