Job summary

TKDA is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join a collaborative team delivering design for heavy industrial plants and building systems. You will assist with drafting and design of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and Revit, with opportunities for basic calculations and redline revisions.

Hybrid work arrangement in MN, with limited travel. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in architectural technology, engineering technology, mechanical/building system design, CAD technology, or related field.
• Four or more years of progressive experience designing industrial mechanical systems with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & design of mechanical system projects by preparing drawings using design production software.
• Perform basic mechanical calculations and complete redline revisions.
