Job summary

TKDA in Minnesota is seeking a Structural Designer to join a multi-disciplined team delivering design services for heavy industrial systems. You will assist drafting & design of mechanical systems by producing drawings with AutoCAD and Revit, and perform basic mechanical calculations.

The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement (three days in-office, two remote) with travel up to 15%. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of drafting experience and an Associate degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years progressive structural drafting and modeling experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit to produce construction documents.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret plans for project coordination.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Draft and design mechanical system projects and produce drawings.
• Perform basic mechanical calculations and redline revisions.
