Job summary

TKDA in Duluth, MN or Bloomington, MN offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, typically three days in the office and two remote, with travel less than 10% to other offices or sites. The Structural Designer will draft and design mechanical systems for complex industrial projects, using AutoCAD and Revit, and perform basic calculations with field verifications as needed.

The role supports a multi-disciplinary team (mechanical, electrical, civil, structural) and may require occasional overnight

Qualifications

Associate degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field.
Four or more years of progressive structural drafting and modeling experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit to produce construction documents and 3D renderings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans and models for project coordination.

Responsibilities

Draft and design mechanical system projects using design production software.
Perform basic mechanical calculations and complete redline revisions.
Assist with drafting and modeling structures within multi-disciplinary project teams.
