Job summary

TKDA is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our multi-disciplinary team in Minnesota. You will draft and design mechanical systems for heavy industrial projects, perform basic calculations, and complete redline revisions to ensure accurate design deliverables.

We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement (three days in the office, two days remotely) with travel less than 10% to other offices or sites, in a supportive, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field required.
• 4+ years of experience designing industrial mechanical systems with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting & design of mechanical system projects and prepare drawings using CAD software.
• Perform basic mechanical calculations and complete redline revisions.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to deliver design services for heavy industrial sectors.
