Job summary

EXP is seeking a Mechanical Designer/ Engineer to join our team in Florida or Texas. You will contribute to aviation, data centers, and commercial building projects, performing CAD work in a mechanical team and coordinating with multiple disciplines.

The role requires hands-on design using Revit MEP, knowledge of HVAC systems, and strong communication. Bachelor’s in engineering and EIT is desirable for advancement and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in designing Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for Aviation, Data and Commercial Building projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in plumbing and fire protection.
• AutoCAD and REVIT MEP familiarity.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• EIT Certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on CAD using Revit platforms.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations with Trace, Energy Pro, DOE.
• Layout air and water side systems on working drawings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for HVAC details.
• Maintain the Engineering Calculation Book for projects.
