Job summary

Career Collective is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. The role involves ductwork design, detailed drawings, and load calculations across a variety of project types.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HVAC design, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and may have an EIT/PE license. This on-site role offers benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in HVAC/Mechanical Design; commercial/mixed-use experience a plus.
• EIT or PE preferred; non-licensed considered for Designer roles.
• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD is required.
• Experience using Trane Trace, Trace 700, and/or Carrier HAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• HVAC and Ductwork design.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Prepare heating, ventilation, and air conditioning load calculations.
• Work on multiple projects, including commercial, retail, healthcare, data center and more.
• Review and answer RFIs, review shop drawings, participate in field observations, and write reports.
• Collaborate with other disciplines such as architecture, electrical, civil, etc.
