You will size equipment, perform load calculations, and coordinate with plumbing, electrical, and civil engineers and architects to ensure integrated design. Responsibilities include preparing CAD/REVIT drawings, reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and supporting field staff on projects.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient in Revit with experience in CAD/BIM workflows.

We have an exciting opportunity with an established MEP firm for an HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer. The engineer will coordinate design components with a multi disciplinary team. Projects are typically medical facilities, but also include some office, retail, restaurant, religious, and education buildings too.

Duties Include:

• Design HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment sizing/selection
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and apply results to system layouts and design.
• Coordination with Plumbing, Electrical and Civil Engineers as well as architects.
• Meeting/webinars with clients to coordinate plumbing systems with other project elements.
• Meeting with vendors to specify appropriate equipment.
• Managing and delivering revisions.
• Performing submittal/shop drawing reviews.
• Responding to RFIs.
• Conducting construction site reviews (as required).
• Preparing CAD/REVIT generated construction drawings and specifications.
• Supporting mechanical staff as required

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Revit Proficiency

Preferred:

• 2 pus years of HVAC design experience
