Job summary

EXP is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Engineer in Orlando to join the Entertainment and Hospitality sector. You will work with the Mechanical team on HVAC design, 3D modeling in Revit, and equipment selection, ensuring code compliance and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities include creating 3D models, performing load calculations, coordinating with other disciplines, and mentoring designers. A Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Architectural Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 7+ years of building HVAC design experience.
• EIT or Registered Professional Engineer preferred.
• Hospitality or Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create Revit 3D HVAC models and drawings with accuracy.
• Prepare and review HVAC calculations and load analyses.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical and energy codes.
• Coordinate with disciplines (MEP/FP, architecture, structural) and vendors.
• Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases and select equipment.
