Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Designer to create parts and assemblies for renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets.

You will design with CAD tools, create 2D prints and 3D models, and work with cross-functional teams to validate and finalize designs. Requirements include an Associate degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent, 3–5 years of design experience, proficiency in Inventor/CAD tools, and BOM/Change Notice experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience.
• 3 years minimum design experience; 5 years preferred.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD: Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo.
• Experience in sheet metal or heavy fabrication design.
• Mechanical design and drafting experience.
• BOM creation and Change Notice processes.
• Experience with large 3D assemblies preferred.
• Experience in casting, machining, roto-molded or fiber-reinforced plastics preferred.
• Experience with electrical components or equipment preferred.
• Travel 5-25%.

Responsibilities

• Presents design concepts and validates designs with input from engineers.
• Creates/updates 2D prints and 3D models for parts and assemblies.
• Prepares Bills of Materials and Change Notices for releases.
• Interacts with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and IE staff.
• Provides technical manuals for operation and maintenance.
• Supports prototype/pilot builds and production support.
• Collaborates with suppliers to integrate components into systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
