Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Designer to create 2D prints and 3D models for components and assemblies used in renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets.

You will use Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks or Creo to design, validate and document parts, support BOM and Change Notices, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of product design experience; 5 years preferred.
• Proficient in CAD design software (Inventor/CATIA/SolidWorks/Creo).
• Experience with sheet metal/heavy fabrication design and BOM creation.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical designs and calculations under supervision.
• Assists in preparing mechanical designs for power and low voltage products.
• Interacts with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Industrial Engineering regularly.
• Presents technical information during design reviews.
• Creates and updates 2D prints and 3D models for parts and assemblies.
• Prepares Bills of Materials and Change Notices for releases.
