Job summary

The role requires 3–4 years in manufacturing drafting, GD&T proficiency, and strong knowledge of SolidWorks, CADWorx Plant, and AutoCAD Plant 3D, with a focus on steel design and piping routing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in CAD/Applied Science or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years in a manufacturing drafting/design environment.
• GD&T proficiency strongly preferred.
• Experience in oil and gas environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, CADWorx Plant and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Proficiency with piping design software and 2D/3D drafting.
• Ability to interpret engineer notes and sketches into complex drawings.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create manufacturing drawings that accurately dimension and include BOMs.
• Draw from engineering sketches, equipment lists, and past project drawings.
• Collaborate with production to depict equipment and materials accurately.
• Use CAD tools efficiently and manage drawing revisions.
• Maintain organized documentation and support project goals and deadlines.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams while representing the organization.
