Contech Engineered Solutions LLC is seeking a CAD Technician in Kentucky to support engineering and sales through detailed drafting and design work. You will create drawings, BOMs, and ensure critical dimensions align with project requirements.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, the ability to read technical documentation, and collaboration with design staff to meet deadlines. On-site manufacturing facilities visits are possible.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting, Engineering, or AutoCAD.
• Read and interpret documents, manuals, and engineering concepts.
• Strong AutoCAD skills and current AutoCAD versions.
• Excel proficiency and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative work style and adaptability to changes.
• Strong reading of site plans and engineering concepts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and Drafting: create detailed drawings and BOMs.
• Review site plans and manuals to determine critical dimensions.
• Daily use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, Fusion 360, and Inventor.
• Calculate design information for fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with design staff to resolve issues.
• Produce accurate drawings for approval.
• Prioritize projects based on due dates.
• Develop and maintain standard and custom details for product families.
• Interface between operations, plant managers, customer service, and engineers.
• Occasional field visits to manufacturing facilities or installation sites.
