Qualifications

• Ability to create detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed part, weldment, and assembly drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Create and revise engineering drawings for rotary dryer equipment and related components.
• Generate bills of materials and specify required materials and hardware.
• Prepare installation drawings and maintain drawing standards.
• Research historical drawings and documentation for design reference.
• Support fabrication teams by resolving design and manufacturing questions.
• Perform equipment field measurements for validation and reverse engineering.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding project requirements.
• Manage drawing creation, approval, release, and archiving processes.
• Perform equipment sizing, weight, and load calculations.
• Maintain engineering records, documentation, and project data.
• Assist with additional engineering and design projects as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer or experienced Mechanical Drafter to support the design and production of rotary dryer equipment. • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with internship experience OR 2+ years of related mechanical design experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with heavy industrial equipment, rotating equipment, or material handling systems
• Manufacturing or fabrication environment experience
• Experience supporting shop-floor production and assembly processes
