Servtech, a Roeslein & Associates Company, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to create detailed 3D piping and equipment models and manage comprehensive drawings for project execution. This onsite role in Louisville, CO collaborates with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate documentation and revisions.

You will draft from sketches, equipment lists, and kickoff inputs, and support the team with CAD tools, P&ID work, and drawing revisions while upholding company standards and safety

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in CAD, Drafting/Applied Science or related tech preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years drafting/design experience in manufacturing
• GD&T proficiency strongly preferred
• Oil & gas experience in design/drafting/modeling preferred
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, CADWorx Plant and AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Weldments and Plant 3D piping knowledge advantageous
• Ability to interpret engineer notes and sketches into complex drawings
• MS Windows, Word and Excel proficiency

About the Role

Mechanical Designer creating detailed technical drawings, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and managing accurate documentation and revisions to support project execution. This role is located onsite in Louisville, CO

Responsibilities

What You Will Do (Essential Functions):

• Responsible for creating 3D piping and equipment models (pumps, pressure vessels) for entire project that will accurately dimension, notify spatial relationships, and contain complete bills of materials for manufacturing.
• Create drawings from complete engineering department sketches, equipment lists, kickoff meetings, and past project knowledge/drawings.
• Work with the production floor to develop accurate depictions of equipment and material.
• Ability to draft P&ID, P&ID redlines and ability to read the P&ID for design.
• Utilize the CAD commands efficiently and productively.
• Understand the specifications set forth within the CAD software.
• Stay organized and document redlines, revisions, and drawing changes.
• Support other designers and engineers to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Bring (Skills, Abilities, Experience):

• An associate degree in computer-aided Drafting, Applied Science, or related technical education is preferred.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing drafting/design environment
• Competency and profound experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is strongly preferred.
• Oil and Gas experience in design, drafting and modeling preferred.
• Experience with engineering, manufacturing, and/or oil and gas environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks Software, CADWorx Plant and AutoCAD Plant 3D is required.
• Proficiency with steel design software such as SolidWorks Weldments, CADWorx Structure, Plant 3D is an advantage
• Proficiency with piping design software such as SolidWorks Pipe Routing,CADWorxPlant, Plant 3D Piping is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting techniques is strongly preferred but not required.
• Ability to interpret engineer’s notes & sketches as well as verbal directions for development into complex design documents is necessary.
• Computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs are required, especially Word and Excel
• Develop detailed, neat, well-organized drawings meeting established standards.
• Requires effective teamwork skills, time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.

Work Environment

Work is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

Pay Range

Salary Range: USD $30.04/Hr. - USD $46.80/Hr.
