Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Designer Drafter to join our Design team in Oregon. You will develop 3D models in Autodesk Inventor and produce fabrication drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing aids for new products and existing lines.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Project Management to ensure manufacturability, accuracy, and on-time releases. A background in metal fabrication and experience with Inventor and AutoCAD are preferred; on-site role

Qualifications

• Approximately three years of mechanical design experience using Autodesk Inventor 2018 or newer.
• Approximately three years of 2D drafting experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience creating complete engineering documentation including fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Experience working with engineering change management systems.
• Ability to work with both metric and U.S. customary units.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and create detailed 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
• Produce engineering drawings and documentation for new products and product enhancements.
• Design fabrication fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids for new and existing products.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, functional objectives, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support first-time builds and product launches.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and configuration control per company standards.
